How do you clean the melting spoon? 🧽Clean the spoon immediately after use, while the wax is still hot. Take a piece of kitchen paper and fold it twice. Place the melting spoon in the middle of the paper and carefully wipe the liquid wax from the spoon. Be careful, because the wax is extremely hot and you don't want to burn your fingers. Has the wax already solidified? Then reheat it by placing the melting spoon on the wax oven. Once the wax has melted, you can easily wipe it out. |
The bottom of my spoon has turned black, what now? 👀Don't panic! What you see on your spoon is a bit of soot. This is because the flame of the tea light got too close to the spoon. Use a piece of kitchen paper to wipe away the worst of the soot. You won't be able to get it completely clean, but kitchen paper will help quite a bit. ❗️Extra tip: from now on, use a tea light with a burning time of no more than 4 hours that has already been burning for a while, so that the flame is not as high. This will prevent soot deposits next time.

How do you clean the wax oven? 🛁When you are busy making wax seals, wax may get on the brass part of the wax seal oven. After pouring the melting spoon, drops may remain. These drip to the bottom of the spoon and end up on the oven. Clean the oven with a piece of kitchen paper. Blow out the tea light and fold the kitchen roll twice. Very carefully wipe off the wax, taking care not to burn your fingers. |
Kijk, dat wordt een fris begin van het nieuwe jaar! Met deze tips zal er voortaan geen vuiltje meer te vinden zijn op jouw wax seal spullen.
