#3 - Mixing colours

How do you create a marble effect?

Choose two or three different colours and place three wax beads in the melting spoon. It does not matter how you place them in the spoon, as this has no effect on the seal. Place your spoon on the wax oven and wait until the wax melts. Once it has melted, take a skewer and use it to gently stir the wax a little.

Next, pour the wax onto a card, envelope or wax seal mat, for example. You will see the different colours appear in your seal. Then place your wax stamp on the hot wax and wait thirty seconds for the wax to solidify. Lift your stamp and admire your unique seal!
